Jaime is our Schools Lead on the ReSET project. She also directs the Schools Division at the Anna Freud National Centre for Children and Families and led the development of the Schools in Mind network that now has over 33, 000 education professional members. The network aims to translate research into practice by providing evidence-based, accessible information and resources that can be used to embed good mental health across the whole school community.
Jaime has over 20 years of experience in the education sector starting her career as a secondary school teacher in London. Jaime went on to work in Local Authorities with children and young people excluded or at risk of exclusion from school. She has overseen the delivery of three national DfE funded programmes including the Link Programme, Education for Wellbeing and Peer Support for children and young people’s mental health. More recently she led the delivery of Wellbeing for Education Return a programme of training to support schools as they returned after the period of lockdown in 2020.
