Welcome to ReSET

The ReSET Project is a research programme led by Professor Pasco Fearon (University College London and the University of Cambridge) and Professor Essi Viding (University College London). Developed by a multidisciplinary team at University College London (UCL) and the Anna Freud Centre for Children and Families, ReSET focuses on improving adolescent mental health through a preventative, transdiagnostic, school-based group intervention.

Working in partnership with schools, young people, and clinicians, the project has developed and rigorously evaluated an evidence-informed intervention designed to strengthen emotional wellbeing and resilience during adolescence. By delivering support within the school environment, ReSET aims to equip young people with practical skills that promote positive mental health and help prevent emotional difficulties from becoming more severe.

The ReSET team is currently preparing to share the findings from this work. Stay tuned for upcoming results, which will contribute to the growing evidence base for effective school-based mental health prevention.
