Reilly is a Research Assistant for the ReSET project led by Prof. Essi Viding and Prof. Pasco Fearon, which focuses on building resilience through socio-emotional training. Prior to this, she completed an MSc in Health Psychology at UCL in 2022 where she did my placement at the Resilience Research Group (RRG) as their Communications Lead. For her masters thesis, she studied how creative arts engagement impacted the mental well-being of people with substance misuse issues during the pandemic, using data collected from the award-winning COVID-19 Social Study spearheaded by Dr Daisy Fancourt. Her research areas of interests are vast and often interdisciplinary in nature, and include topics such as social-emotional flourishing, clinical applications of mindfulness, nature-based social prescribing and therapy, mind-body psychology, and interventions and policies to improve outcomes related to collective wellbeing, quality of life (QoL), belonging, community and social connectedness.
